Hello,

Here are some preliminary pics of my Virtual Avionics MCP install. As per my previous posts, my GF MCP pro gave up the ghost, and since it was quite a bit smaller than the VR product, I had to redesign and build a new brand new glareshield from scratch.

The VHF Nav heads are modified to work with Fs9 via USB connection ,(courtesy of Leo Bodnar).

Just have to fit the master warning and caution flashers....lift spoiler lamps/ gpws pull up warning lamps, then finish and paint.

More pics to come....

RJ85

Hello,

I like your pit ;) It inspires me for my project to build also a RJ85 cockpit based on the QualityWings addon. I have unsuccessfully sought the dimensions of the panels. Would you have a plan of the different sections of the cockpit to communicate to me?

Good continuation in your project and better greetings.

@RJ85

Absolutely. I have all the dimensions you need if building a real size simpit. The RJ85 and 146 dimensions are identical, as is the overhead panel. The main difference is the autopilot system and the efis flight instrument and engine panel additions.

Depending on what you want to do, using the Quality Wings platform is not the best foundation due to the fact you cannot access a lot of the modelling in the program.

Although the product is top notch, you cannot use FS Panel studio to expand the flight instruments, indicators, or engine instruments if deciding on using monitors behind cut-outs, (I will qualify my comment that some instruments can be expanded, but will not function).

Tell me what you need, or PM me!
