My daughter was talking with her new best friend (the same one she's been hanging out with since we moved here).  At some point in conversation my daughter mentioned what I planned to do with the front room of the house (put in a 180 degree screen and at least a GA Sim if not my 737).  My daughter was looking for some kind of affirmation that I've lost my mind.  Her friend wasn't even phased.  In fact she replied with, "my father is a simulator technician at JBLM"....  of course she ran home to tell me.  Guess who we're eating dinner with on Sunday!

I assume that he runs the Blackhawk, Chinook and Apache simulators but he may very well be over on the Air Force side which means C-17s!

As my daughter says, I'm geeking out.  More to follow.

Reminds me of the time during A&P school we got to head to the 128th base and go in the KC-135 sim.
