Motion cueing from seat

This might be a new trail to explore.
We already have sonic cueing with buttkickers, what about shoulder and lap belts tensionning ?
Of course, what's avail on the market is out of reach but we have brain power and ingenuity to make up for that!

I don't think Moog have ever made anything cheap have they???

Good idea though but still think the Dbox platform is the way to go as that can just add a 3 degree pitch roll etc for your seat

nothing with MOOG is competitive in terms of pricing.. but I think what you are making reference to here is a "motion queing seat" this has done by the like of Cranfeild University out of the UK... and their demonstration seat is located at NAVAIR at Paux River, very cool, however this aside a little 3 DOFF system connected to the aircraft seats could be quite cool and very cost competitive

Here's an idea? Why don't we use a pneumatic bladder insert inside of our seat cushion and somehow control the amount of air which travels to the bladder in reference to positive and negative G-forces!! Like inflating and deflating a balloon.

too much...lol I had exactly the same idea but kept it , not sure about my sanity !

Much easier than tightening belts and probably cheaper too.
Visuals do the trick in turns but "pneumatics" could take over for acceleration deceleration (behind your back) and for pitch up and down (butt)
Gentle turns if coordinated are a non issue

Bladder/ compressor or air tank/ relay card ...

Im gonna hook up my 4 little transducers one day...!
Have two under seat and two under floor, think it will be Ok as another sensory "dimension".
Next step 6DOF... nice to dream

Yes,
I did resd sbout some guy who used air  filled bladders for a sim for his kid. I think he published the details. Cant remember now who or where it was. Said it worked very well.

well here's a thought in the "office" a bladder may work if one could do the math for inflation deflation.. ( not me as I am not that bright) have you ever considered way motion platforms are rated at a little bit behind one g? and I think it is because lets say a standard rate turn is 2mins effectively you get the motion of the turn then the visuals take over giving the effect that you are pulling more than what you actually are thus the two and throw effect as you level out of the turn

now if that ivibe chap ever comes through there is a ready solution :-)
