Hi All..

I don't mean to be jumping in too soon here, but I have placed an order with Opencockpits to the value of £3300. The money has been taken (5 days ago) but the payment status on my OC account is still showing as 'Processing' ... I know I'm in the UK & they are in Italy (or Spain, not sure) , but I emailed them 3 days ago to ask for an order update & had no reply. Maybe it's early days into the order but an email update would be nice at the expense of £3300. Can anyone tell me the kind of time they dealt with, with their OC order? ... Thank You.

Hi Ian -

My experience is that OC can be slow with communications.....so you just need to be patient, that's all.  Your investment is very safe. They will reliably deliver.

Like anything in this hobby time is not our friend. As Fred stated your order will show up. But it can be upwards of 4+ weeks. Just be patient. I know that is hard when you are talking about 3300 but all I am saying is just don't expect to receive your order within a couple weeks that's all.

They have been around for a long time and are reputable.

It was also a long weekend in Spain, with the Monday being a public holiday.

Hi Guys.

Thanks for your reassuring posts. I haven't dealt with any of these hardware companies before. I don't mind if the order takes a few weeks but it's nice to get a fairly prompt email reply about outstanding orders. Time to sit back & wait now & it might just end up being the best Christmas pressie to myself  ;D

Lol Ian. Waiting and poor communication is unfortunately the way it goes. But at least we get our gear. Ha ha

Hi Ian,

I've been buying from them for years, they are very reliable. I don;t think you have anything to worry about.
