Hi all,
I'm new to this group but I'm looking for the owner of a De Havilland Comet cockpit in the Cotswolds. I believe it has been converted into a simulator.

a simple search with " Comet" will get you there

Thanks Guys, I've found him on here

I was briefly involved in a restoration project for the Museum of Flight here in Seattle.

She was used for years as a firefighter trainer before being acquired by the museum for restoration. Needless to say, the level of corrosion was astronomical. Entire pieces the fuselage had to be replaced. The aileron servos below the floor were giant balls of rust and unrecognizable.

She would never fly again but she's gorgeous now because of volunteers from around the region.

Ray, did I mention that I'm arriving six months earlier than anticipated?  I land at SEATAC late on 3 JAN, then down to JBLM to get settled.

We should get together and you can fill us in on the best German beer!

Finally another fellow simmer in the state! That makes it.... 3? I think?....

Bonus! I found my old website of the museum's restoration effort! (I was the webmaster for the project for awhile)
